The Research Center coincides with the strategic plan of Riyadh Second Health Cluster (R2) by enhancing and supporting the conduct of Research. Maintaining a robust research culture is the only way to excel in knowledge progress and transfer. As a result, the Research Center has established itself as an important organization tasked with developing a new generation of highly qualified personnel who will increase the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
And our continuing efforts to create a robust research environment, we have established several administrations and departments, which cooperatively operate to advance clinical, biomedical and transition of Research, support scientific writing and publications, and assure ethical and scientific integrity of clinical studies. R2 Research Center is keen on spreading research culture among researchers through continuous training and educational activities and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training, including an outreach educational program that delivers on-site practical research lectures for residents, fellows, nurses, and other staff. In efforts to make R2 Research Center one of the centers of student excellence, we are cooperating with King Abdulaziz & his Companions Foundation for Giftedness & Creativity “Mawhiba”.
In 2021, the Research Center organized 22 educational calendars, 10 workshops, 32 research summer training for medical students, 90 outreach educational activities, and 10 research awareness days for staff, patients, and the public. RC has also proudly assisted in the publication of 461 Research papers by the R2.
